Art Lynch is a National Director of the Screen Actors Guild, where he has served since 1994. He chairs or serves on committees serving the interest and needs of young performers, the disabled, commercial and background actors. He is an award winning producer or director, responsible for over 1,200 commercials and industrials. His acting chops came growing up in Oak Park, Illinois, and included north side Chicago theater. He has a BA in theater, an MA in Communication, is all but a thesis from an MA in Theatre, and is in the process of completing a PhD in Education.
His experience includes acting, voice over, vocal music including gospel and classical, and extensive work in advertising. He as worked as an actor, director, writer, script supervisor and in other roles on films from Chicago to Wyoming to California and Nevada. Art is the voice of Nevada Public Radio on Sundays.  Art Lynch teaches at the College of Southern Nevada and Casting Call Entertainment. He has taught at UNLV, Everest College, Kim Flowers Academy, Boomtown Players, Studio Casting and the Nevada SAG Conservatory.
His wife Laura is an MSW Clinical Social Worker. He has two grown daughters and six grandchildren. Art and Laura live in a cottage built at the same time as the Hoover Dam in Boulder City, NV, with their two dogs.
Active in his community, Lynch is involved the 31ers Educational Outreach, Living Theater, announces for the Damboree Parade, is on the board of the Dam Short Film Festival and offers classes through the Boulder City Park District.
