'Star Wars' gets rewritten in the style of William Shakespeare

If only one of the greatest writers in history had gotten his hands on George Lucas before he wrote "Hold me, like you did by the lake on Naboo." Although that quote remains unchanged, Lucas' script for the first "Star Wars" movie has been rewritten as if by the Bard himself. In "William Shakespeare's Star Wars," the play restructures the original story completely in iambic pentameter with monologues, soliloquies and a chorus. However, writer Ian Doescher remains faithful to both Shakespeare's tone and Lucas' galaxy far, far away. [Source]
