At the young age of nine Scott Baio decided that he wanted to be an actor. His first big break occurred in 1976 when he beat out 2,000 other child actors for the starring role in Bugsy Malone. The following year, Scott's popularity soared after he was chosen for the role of Chachi Arcola, The Fonz's cousin, on the ABC sitcom "Happy Days". He then starred on the sitcom "Charles in Charge".
In addition to exercising his acting skills, Baio has also proved himself a talent behind the scenes. He directed the children's series "Out of this World", episodes of "The Wayans Bros.", "Unhappily Ever After", and "The Parkers".  Baio wrote the screenplay for the film 'Face To Face', which his brother produced.
He currently stars on Nick at Nite's "See Dad Run" as David Hobbs, America's favorite sitcom Dad. He also serves as executive producer on the show.
