THE HEADS UP ON HEADSHOTS

Event Rules:
No headshots, reels, and/or business cards will be collected at this event.
Panelists will discuss what are the elements of a quality headshot. Hear as photographers and casting directors discuss all aspects of the headshot process from preparing for a session, working with a photographer, and what casting looks for in a professional headshot.
The first half hour will be moderator led questions, the second half hour panelists will be talking specifics about audience headshots that they submitted in advance, and the last half hour will be audience questions.
Submit a Headshot for Panel Review
Panelists will be giving feedback on headshots during the event. Headshots must be submitted electronically by 5pm Tuesday, 01/21. No headshots will be collected at the event. Headshots will be randomly chosen from those that were submitted. You do not have to be in attendance to submit a headshot.
Please email one headshot to liferaft@sagfoundation.org. Headshots should have the minimal dimensions of 720x930 for vertical headshots or 930x720 for horizontal headshots.

Peter Konerko - Photographer
Peter tries to maintain character-driven approach to creating stories and portraits that are authentic and uniquely personal. His style has been developed over many years and in collaboration with top industry professionals, art directors, and cinematographers. His goal is to work collaboratively with each client to capture the distinct individual qualities that make a timeless iconic image. He is so fortunate to have worked with clients that make it possible for me to make a living with my camera. He received an MFA from the prestigious visual arts school, CalArts.
Rob Mainord - Photographer
Rob Mainord Photography was born in Santa Monica, CA in 2001. A USC film school graduate, Rob has worked in several areas of the entertainment industry, including 9 years at a talent agency. As an actor, he has appeared in over 75 commercials and some of his TV credits include Parks and RecreationMen of a Certain Age and Monk. His experience both in front and behind the camera provides him the ability to direct and capture a person's individuality. Each shoot uses natural lighting, specific direction and most importantly a fun environment.
