Lone Survivor Movie - In Theaters January 10, 2014

Hello all. As most of you already know, Lone Survivor the movie is being released on January 10, 2014. Just a couple days away. I've seen a rough cut months ago but will be seeing it again. I hope you all will too. Not just for Shane but for all the guys who died that day. It takes warriors like them to keep us free. Those are the behind the scenes guys. Those are the guys that allow us to feel safe while walking the dog. Those are the guys making split second life or death decisions. Some of them live. Some die. They know that going in. Regardless of whether you support war or not, you MUST support our American military. Because when war is imminent I'm sure they'd be glad to step aside and allow you to have a heart to heart with the enemy.
Thank you to ALL the U.S. Military, past, present and future.

Lone Survivor Movie

There will be a movie made soon appropriately called "Lone Survivor". The movie is written and directed by Peter Berg. My bro, Shane Patton, will be played by actor Alexander Ludwig who you might now from the movie, "The Hunger Games". The movie is in pre-production which means details can change at any time. The site has a January 2012 start and early 2013 release that they pulled from Marcus Luttrell's facebook page. I don't know very much about this... Just what I read online. Will post more if I find it.

Guess which one is Shane... It was 7 years ago today that our family heard the worst news we've ever heard. 7 years ago today that Shane met Jesus in person.

2 Corinthians 5:8 - We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

Philippians 1:21 - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

One of my many memories with Shane was when we went to church one Sunday with our mom and we were in the Sunday school class where there was a yes or no question that was answered wrong by another boy. Shane quickly rose his hand and answered correctly. Hahahah pretty funny when you think about it. Of course, he was sure to get his piece of candy for getting it right!
