You only need to complete the CAP Online Orientation process one time. If you have already completed the CAP Online Orientation in the past, please DO NOT do it again. If you are not sure you can check by logging into our site and going to "Your User Home Page." Your CAP status will be listed at the top of the page.
IF YOU HAVE SELECTED LA OR NY AS YOUR REGION YOU WILL NOT SEE AN RSVP BUTTON. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR INFO UNDER "YOUR USER HOME PAGE > USER ACCOUNT > LOCATION NEAREST YOU."
The Orientation will be open from March 1st - March 14th. You may complete the Orientation any time during those two weeks. After the 14th, the Orientation RSVP will close and we will begin processing everyone's information.
Here's all you need to do:
1. Have your headshot (500kb or smaller) and resume (500kb or smaller) ready to upload.
2. Click on the RSVP button
3. Read all of the rules/guidelines, upload your headshot and resume. Then click "I have read and agree to the event rules" and "By checking here, I certify that I have read and understand CAP orientation rules and regulations."
4. Click "Register". You will automatically be sent an email letting you know we have received your request to become eligible for CAP. You can also verify that you have done it correctly by going to "Your User Home Page." If you've done it correctly you will see the Orientation listed in the "Upcoming RSVPed and Waitlisted events" section. It will be listed there until the Orientation closes on March 14th.
5. After the Orientation closes we will verify your eligibility by making sure you are a current, paid up SAG-AFTRA member. This process will take up to 2 weeks. Once your eligibility has been verified your status will be changed to CAP Eligible and you will be sent another email verifying your eligibility for CAP Online workshops.
6. The final step – Once you receive your eligibility email from us you will need to complete your CAP Profile. It includes helpful information that casting directors use to pull sides for you – your breakdown – age, type... To fill out your profile all you need to do is log into our site and "CAP Profile" will be one of the items listed in the log in area under your name. Once you complete your profile you may start attending CAP workshops.
